Bla Bla Bla - An iOS App for Speech Therapy and Design Problem-Solving
Bla Bla Bla is an innovative sound reactive application designed for iPhone and iPad. Primarily used in speech therapy, especially with young children (aged 0-3 years) and individuals with autism or stroke patients, this app aims to assist in improving communication skills.
The app originated from an exercise called "Parametric Mask" which was developed during a workshop held at the design department of IUAV in Venice in DecemberThe workshop, titled "Procedures of Basic Design," focused on using programming languages as problem-solving tools. Although the course was targeted towards first-year students with no coding experience, the language used in the workshop activities was Processing.
Bla Bla Bla utilizes sound reactivity to engage users and enhance their communication abilities. It provides a unique and interactive experience that can be beneficial for speech therapy sessions. Developed by Lorenzo Bravi, this app is a result of his projects in both speech therapy and design problem-solving.
